HopkinsThose things are super cool! Off-roading in one has to be a blast. No need to worry about flooding the interior or ruining electronics or any of those modern day complications. Looking at the pics make me want one! I'm amazed at the similarities between the mighty mite and the modern H1, like the brakes being at the differential rather than at the wheels. What kind of engines do they run?9 years ago
4.3LXJThey had an air cooled V4, which was certifiable junk. This one had an ancient Volvo 4 cyl in when we got it. It is about to throw a rod now, so it is time for a transplant. We have a TBI 2.8L ready to go in. 135 hp in a 1800# rig will really make it scoot. But this has to wait on the TJ, which will get done at Christmas I think. I will post pics of it later. And yes, they are a blast9 years ago
