Hello all me and my wife are gonna be getting a off road camper trailer next year we currently have a small pop-up. We are looking for tips if possible I have a chevy silverado z71 with a small 2.5 inch lift on 31.5 toyo AT3. So any info from your group would be greatly appreciated and very helpful.

Introduce yourself, your 4 wheeler and your camptrailer.

pkulick2 We have a teardrop that we pull behind our JKU. Last summer we spent about 7 weeks living out of it and about 7500 miles. traveled from home west to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Vegas, most of Utah, Colorado, and east to eastern Penn. 7 years ago

I'm in the beginning stages of building a semi-rugged teardrop. It's a pain cutting/grinding all the expanded metal grating off the trailer

pkulick2 If I knew how to weld I would build my own trailer. But so far we are doing good with ours. we haven't gone crazy off road with it. We drop it the go jeeping 7 years ago

jred The weather has been conspiring against me cutting off that expanded metal (I'm working outside). I'm thinking about putting a layer of thin sheet metal on top of it & calling it good 7 years ago
