On my way to Cape Cod now. Any recommendations for an easy and fun trail down there? Stock wk2 with leveling kit.
WJGrandCherokeeIf you are trying to drive on the beaches, they require an OSV pass (Over-sand Vehicle). That and during the summer months the beaches fill up pretty quickly. We use to go to Nauset Beach in the off-season, and as a an out-of-state resident it was like $150 for the offseason months only. There are other beaches too that you can drive on, I doubt you can purchase a pass once you get there.2 years ago
WJGrandCherokeeFurthermore, there is a basic equipment list you must have, including shovel, tow rope, jack, jack support, tire gauges that go down past 10psi, full size spare.2 years ago
Wk2Thanks for all that info WJGRANDCHEROKEE. I Wasn't thinking of driving on the beach but I'll check the beach overland thing, sounds like it'll be cool. I hear that are some dirt roads down there for some overlanding. Someone told me about this trail at Punkhorn, I just don't know exactly where.2 years ago
WJGrandCherokeeYeah not sure of any trails other than the beaches. Good luck2 years ago
