Hey everybody, I’m new here. Just purchased my first Jeep. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid, can finally afford it. Or maybe not. I was never a mechanic but I do work with my hands so I want to do the work myself and learn as I go, it’s hard to find answers for certain questions though.

I first and most importantly want to ask, is it worth installing a lift on my truck? I have the 2021 gladiator sport, it has a tow package but it rides on the smallest axels. Can I get away with a 3”-4.5” lift without upgrading the axels?

4.3LXJ Yes. A lift would greatly benefit you with that long wheel base. Axle requirements are dependent on tire size not lift height 3 years ago

Agentimpatient Thank you, obviously I want the lift the truck to fit bigger tires, I want to go with something around 33”-35”. 3 years ago

4.3LXJ A rig that size will need 35s. Even 40s don't look that big on a JT 3 years ago

Agentimpatient I agree 100%. I just want to make sure that the axels can handle it for a while like ai said they are the lowest grade axels for this truck. I just don’t have the money to shell out right now for axel upgrades 3 years ago

4.3LXJ The standard D44 will take a 38" tire. The Rubicon axle will handle 40s 3 years ago
