Fun Beginner Trail

Submitted on Nov 08, 2020

So i am from NYS and was going camping up in Baxter State park and decided to check this trail out as it was on the way. I have a 2016 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x with a 5 inch suspension lift and 33's m/t tires. this was a easy trail up the small mountain here. my buddy followed me in his stock Toyota Tacoma with street tires.. So you don't need a huge rig to get up this. So this is more a maintenance road turned into a scenic outlook hiking/4x4 trail. So be careful of people hiking up and down. This is basically solid rock the whole way up with some loose rock at the beginning but nothing crazy. I made it up with 2 kayaks strapped to the top of the truck too lol . I would def recommend this quick 30 minute trail to anyone with a 4x4 stock or built. great views at the top!

Short trail

Submitted on Aug 12, 2020

its a short climb to the top, but it's steep. the view from the top was awesome. I probably would have had a harder time going up it if it wasn't 90F out clear skys and warmed up tires from the drive to the trail. The few of us that drive to the top didn't even have to air down.
