In order to keep the offroad community up to date with the latest and most accurate wheeling information, we have created an offroad trails map that covers the entire USA.  The trails map on Where2Wheel is powered by the offroad community and is totally reliant on individual offroaders contributing their knowledge to keep the map up to date and accurate.  So if you do go wheeling on any of these trails, make sure to leave a review on W2W, or make any adjustments to the trail descriptions as needed since trail conditions can, and often do, change frequently.

Alright, we were talking about offroad trails near Columbus, Georgia.  Again, last warning, we are talking about Jeep trails and 4×4 trails that are large/wide enough to fit a passenger vehicle – no ATVs or dirtbikes talked about here.  The first offroad trail near Columbus is a of Jeep trail located 12 miles S of Columbus near Fort Benning.  This offroad trail south of Columbus is a W2W member submitted trail and can be found by viewing the Where2Wheel trails map here.  Being that this Jeep trail was user-submitted I don’t have much info to share about the trail, but like I said, you can find it on W2W.

The next offroad trail near Columbus, GA is about 45 miles, or about a 50 minute drive, south of Columbus.  This one is an offroad park called Hills N Hollers; at Hills N Hollers you will find 350 acres of true GA wheeling, that means wooded trails, muddy hill climbs, and lots of orange clay mud pits.  The park is for both Jeep and ATVs/UTVs, and admission is $15 per person.  Hills N Hollers can operate under some strange hours though, so make sure to check their site here before planning your offroad adventure.  Remember, you can view trail reviews and browse the offroad trails map on Where2Wheel.com at anytime – W2W is free to access and use!

The last offroad trail that we are going to cover near Columbus, GA is the Taylor County Boondocks located 40 miles E of Columbus in Butler, GA.  This is a mud park that has been featured on Trucks Gone Wild, and their park description does say that they have trail riding if mud bogging isn’t your thing.  However, I’d like to hear from someone that has visited here about how much trail riding they do actually have.  Either way, if you’re a mud pit kind of guy then this is the park for you.  One thing to keep in mind about Taylor County Boondocks is that it is not a family oriented park, so think twice before bringing the little ones out because it can turn into a party out at Taylor County Boondocks.  If you are curious about their operating hours and event dates, just check their site here.  Lastly,  if you’re looking for more offroad options, there are many more Jeep trails and 4×4 trails listed on Where2Wheel, but it’s easier if you visit W2W and view the offroad trails map for yourself.
