The Mabell Trail name is short for Massachusetts Bell as the trail is named for the old Bell Telephone lines that used to run down the trail way back when. The land is privately owned and the land owner is nice enough to let us Jeepers wheel there. However; the trail is in constant danger of closing do to a lack of respect for the land. Mabell Trail offers difficult rock climbs where 35s and lockers are needed however there are go arounds for less equipped vehicles. The trail is rather short but challenging enough to make a day out of. Please remember to always tread lightly, and leave only tire tracks.
