The K-trail stands for the Kiamichi Mountain Trail and runs from the town of Clayton east into the Ouachita National Forest. The trail follows the backbone of the mountain range along a forest service road. From start to finish the road runs 90 miles and intersects with other trails along the way. Some of those trails include: Muse Trail and Big Cedar Trail. The K-trail is very steep, has lots of rocky hill climbs, and also includes some river and stream crossings along the way. Expect obstacles, rocks crawling and also be able to handle mud and seep and slippery roads! This trail is definitely a more challenging one!

I really enjoyed the trip. We went from Mena towards Clayton. Due to a breakdown we had to stop at three sticks so we didn't make it to the good stuff.
