This trail has two parts, the North and South sections of the trail. The Kanabec Forest Road North section is a little over 2.5 miles long and winds through some marshy lowlands. The Kanabec State Forest South section is approx. 2 miles long and is more wooded. Both sections are fairly easy and good for a nice drive .
