Alright, we are talking about off road trails near New Orleans, Louisiana.  Last Warning, the off road trails mentioned are Jeep trails and 4x4 trails large/wide enough to fit a passenger vehicle - no ATVs or dirtbikes talked about here.  The first off road trail near NOLA, LA is South Mississippi Off Road & RV Park located 71 miles NE of New Orleans for a drive time of an hour and twenty minutes.  South Mississippi Off Road & RV Park is home to nearly 380 acres of trails and the park operates 7 days a week; for more information about trails, prices, and anything else, you can view their website here.  You can see what other wheelers are saying about South Mississippi Off Road & RV Park and other trails by visiting the Where2Wheel trails map here.

South Mississippi Off Road & RV Park is the closest off road trail system to New Orleans.  The next two off road areas that I am going to cover are about the same distance from New Orleans, but one off road park is 100 miles east of NOLA and the other off road trail system is 100 miles west of NOLA

The offroad trail east of New Orleans, LA is Red Creek Off-Road located 109 miles NE of New Orleans for a drive time of an hour and forty-five minutes.  Red Creek is primarily an ATV park, but they have no issues with you bringing a Jeep or truck out to enjoy some off road action.  Check out Red Creek Off-Road's website here for additional information for planning your trip.  Reminder, you can browse the offroad trails map anytime for free on Where2Wheel.  There is a good chance that since writing this article that new off road trails near New Orleans, Louisiana have been added, so click here to view the W2W map and check the area for yourself.

The offroad trail west of New Orleans, LA is 4x4 Life Off Road located 106 miles NW of New Orleans for a drive time of an hour and forty minutes.  4x4 Life Off Road is a guided off road park, but I do believe after your first time or two out with the guides that you can purchase a season pass to access their trails - don't quote me on this though since I have never been -  However, I am positive that they do offer the season pass to their trails.  Either way, check 4x4 Life Off Road's website here for more information.  Don't forget to visit the Where2Wheel off road trails map to see all the off road trails near New Orleans, LA.  We also have a great community of offroaders on W2W, so be sure to check out the news feed and groups sections of Where2Wheel as well.

Lastly, feel free to create an account on Where2Wheel; it's free to use and you can find other offroaders in your area that you can hit the trails with.  If you do enjoy using W2W and want to support us, please either tell your offroading pals about the site or sign-up for a premium account, which takes ads off the map for just $2.99/month.
