Did you get that lift in yet? Snow seems to be melting. You up for some wheeling at High Lakes Sunday?

Bustedback Got the lift done and the ZJ rides like a Cadillac. Still need tires though. I'm sick with a cold right now, so I d think I'll be doing any wheeling this weekend.
On a side note, I had to take the JCR one ton steering off of the ZJ once I finished the lift. It caused bump steer so bad I couldn't hardly drive it. So now I have this one ton kit with reamed knuckles and pitman arm sitting and doing nothing. I'm not sure why it was causing the bump steer, but maybe it's because of my radius arm type of lift. I don't know.

4.3LXJ Those 1 ton steering set ups all do that. Did they give you some poly bushings for under the tie rod end. They minimize the tie rod roll you are getting.

Bustedback I made the poly bushing from some stuff I had at work, no roll and the steering was pretty responsive. The stock setup is working great for now, but I do need a dropped pitman arm to keep the linkage from contacting the sway bar link at full droop. 9 years ago
